Alexandre Daoust

Executive Director, Community of Federal Regulators, Health Canada

Alexandre Daoust is the acting Executive Director for the Community of Federal Regulators (CFR), a partnership of 30+ federal regulatory agencies and departments working collaboratively to foster regulatory excellence. Alex provides leadership to the CFR Office to advance the regulatory profession, build a vibrant community and support the regulatory modernization agenda.

Alex has spent over 15 years advancing complex legislative and regulatory issues (e.g. drafting of the new Safe Food for Canadians Act) and supporting regulatory modernization and innovation within the public service. Alex received his BBA in Finance from HEC Montreal and his MA in International Affairs (International Economic Policy) from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
