
Tina Green

Tina Green was appointed Assistant Secretary, Regulatory Affairs Sector, effective April 29, 2019.
Previous to joining TBS, Tina spent 10 years at Health Canada in a number of senior regulatory executive positions. More specifically, Tina served as the Assistant Deputy Minister, Regulatory Operations and Enforcement Branch, Associate Assistant Deputy Minister of the Health Products and Foods Branch (2016), and Director General of the Consumer Product Safety Directorate within the Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety Branch (2012).
Tina began her career as an analytical chemist with the Department of Fisheries and Oceans in 1992. She subsequently held positions in the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the Privy Council Office, and Indigenous Affairs and Northern Development Canada.
She is also the Assistant Deputy Minister Co-Champion of the Community of Federal Regulators, a role she also held in her last position at Health Canada.
Tina holds an M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Waterloo, and a B.Sc. from the University of New Brunswick.
